The Cingulum Militare was a leather belt of the Romans. Typical for this belt were the decorative Brass Casted plates on the belt & the holder for a dagger. In addition to the function of the belt to hold the pants at the hip, it was also a sign of military honor or rank.
The buckle with hinge, the decorative brass casted plates and the movable Pugio holders are all made of brass.
